1. www.acsi.org-- Association of Christian Schools International, the HCS accrediting organization -- find out more about the mission to educate with a Christian perspective.
2. www.renweb.com-- Portal for HCS parents to check on student progress -- use the parent log-in tab on the Ren Web homepage, and use log-in information given by the HCS office to access accordingly. Heartland Christian log in code is HCS-FL.
3. www.fhsaa.org-- Link to Florida High School Athletic Association and information about all participating schools in the state of Florida.
4. www.newssun.com and www.highlandstoday.com - Link to both local area Sebring newspapers that cover HCS events from time to time
5. Alpha-Omega Switched On Online -- Via www.heartlandfl.switchedonline.com. This program is for those HCS students who are utilizing this additionally provided resource on or off campus, for academic remediation or enhancement. Alpha Omega states that using the Mozilla Firefox web browser works best, but others such as Internet Explorer may work fine. Upon clicking on the link above, a user would go to LOG ON; from this point, any information to access this system would come from the Dean of Students/Registrars office.
6. -- A local Sebring ministry that partners with non-profits in helping get the word out about what is happening. Catch Heartland Christian School video streaming highlights on Lambs TV channel 26 (go to the website and click on channel 26 link). Also view many other ministry highlights from around the region.
7. www.discoverchristianschools.com -- If you wish to know why Christian education is a "non-negotiable" in this generation, go to this website for answers to your questions and provoking food-for-thought.
8. http://www.eri-nonprofit-salaries.com/index.cfm?FuseAction=NPO.Search -- 990 non-profit form finder. Look at past HCS filings to see the history of financial practices at Heartland Christian School. In the search box, enter "Heartland Christian School"; on the next page click on Heartland Christian School from Sebring, FL. On the next page, click on the tab that says "990" and you will have access to historicall 990 filings and data from HCS.
You can also go to www.foundationcenter.org. When there, go to FIND FUNDERS and 990 FINDER -- type in Heartland Christian School and Florida, and results for historical 990 forms will appear.
9. http://www.noza990pf.com/ -- This resource allows access to research form 990 IRS filings for private foundations -- foundations looking to support non-profit organizatins like Heartland Christian School. Please call the front office and ask for Mr. Kaser if you would like a brief training session on how to use this resource effectively.

.12. www.chea.org -- Use this link to find out if colleges and universities are accredited regionally or nationally (or not at all) through the US Department of Education -- an important resource to have access to, especially if you want to make sure that the higher education you are pursuing is accepted in educational and vocational circles throughout the United States and beyond.
