At Heartland Christian School we welcome home-schooled students to participate in standardized testing, sports programs and certain social events.
Admissions
Students must register each year to be considered for participation in any HCS program. Application for registration is recommended for the beginning of the academic year, although a student may enroll anytime during the year.
Standardized Testing
If a home-schooled student desires to be included in the SAT testing, registration must be made no later than December 1, 2009. Parents will be notified by mail regarding the standardized testing scheduled for March 22-25, 2010.
Athletic Participation
Our sports program is available to students in 6th through 12th grades. HCS is a member of the Florida High School Athletic Association and abides by all the rules and requirements as dictated by FHSAA.
Please note: Heartland Christian School is not an umbrella school, families must register with the Highlands County School Board with intent to establish a home-schooling program. Parents may contact the HCSB at 863-471-5555.
