How can you consider helping Heartland Christian School in Sebring, Florida?  There are many ways to lend a hand, and here are a few of the most basic ways to get started:

1. www.goodsearch.com -- A search engine that allows you to earn almost 1 penny for every search you perfom through the website -- while not earning "mountains" of dollars for HCS, if (for example) 20 people performed 10 searches through GOODSEARCH daily, HCS would earn $2, and by the end of the year this would amount to $730!  Go to the listed web address, put HCS in the appropriate areas and get started today!

2.  Box Tops For Education and Campbell's Soup Labels:  Schools can earn money towards education through Bozx Tops, and points towards products through Campbell's Labels.  Did you know that a school can earn up to $10,000 per school year in cash if 10 cent labels are effectively collected?  Typically, these 2 avenues for revenue have been used to support HCS Library Services -- visit www.boxtops.com and www.labelsforeducation.com for more information.

3.  ALBERTSON'S:  As an HCS Community Partner, make sure that you sign up with Albertson's and scan your card every time you shop!  Our community partner # is 49000100487.  Don't have one yet?  Sign up today at the store nearest you.

4.  VOLUNTEER!  HCS is always in need of prayer warriors, helpers in the classroom, working with maintenance on various projects and even coordinating certain fundraisers through the course of the school year.  Please call the front office at any time to speak with Mrs. Kaser to see how you can get "plugged in" to help HCS be all it can be!

5.  Cash/monetary gifts and support:  Tuition covers about 70-75% of expenses here at HCS.  We are always in need of donors and heroes who see the need for Christian education, who hear the call from the Lord, and who are willing to take HCS on as a partner in ministry.  We currently have a few churches that give additional support to the school, as well as a couple of ongoing individual donors who give occasional gifts throughout the year.  HCS desires to raise additional support to service our ongoing budget needs, while also building perpetual, ongoing "legacy income" for the future.  HCS is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, and all donations and gifts are tax-deductible.

6.  Grant and Foundation Support:  In 2007, HCS received a $5,000 grant to begin a missions fund, and this was matched by in-house/family donors with another $5,000.  HCS would enjoy consideration from foundations gifting 501 (C) (3) organizations to give generously to HCS -- but we need help in performing needed research to find where these foundations are!  if you are interested in helping with research, please contact Mr. Kaser and he will get you started!  Grants are available for a wide variety of needs, including operating support -- call today!
