What is Ag-Venture?

An annual 3 day event open to every 3rd Grade student in Highlands County, Ag-Venture introduces students to the world of Agriculture.  In a typical year (Ag-Venture now in its 10th year), about 1,200 students experience numerous exhibits on display.

Very popular among students, the focus of Ag-Venture is to bring the farm, ranch and outdoors to all children.  For 3 days, the Highlands County Fairgrounds are used, and it takes hundreds of volunteers to complete advance work, set up displays, hand out water, answer questions and help experts give presentations to make this event a success.  Businesses and individuals from around the community contribute money and donate supplies for students to participate in and enjoy.

Heartland Christian School 3rd grade students attend every year, and it one of the many special off-campus moments HCS students look forward to attending.
